The first day of Spring?
The weather has been beautiful today but looks set to change tomorrow, the first day of March! But it feels like Spring is definitely on the horizon and we're excited for the change of season here at Dairy House Antiques.
We've a busy month ahead this month.
We're expecting some exciting new stock to arrive later this week - which we can't wait to arrange in our spacious new showroom area. If you've not visited since we expanded then you are in for a fabulous surprise when you see how we've grown!
We will be selling at Vintage at the Village Hall on Monday 14th March, in The Corn Exchange, Blandford Forum. This is always a popular event, bringing together about 45 sellers who display an array of furnishings and homeware, French brocante, textiles and quality handmade craft at the event. Hopefully we will see some of you there.
We are also busy preparing for our Annual Antiques and Vintage Textile Fair, which takes place this year on Sunday 10th April, It's going to be a fabulous day so mark it in your diary! The fair is on from 10am - 4pm. Entry is free, parking is free and we will have light refreshments and plenty of cake available so do come and visit.
And, of course, it's Easter and the beginning of British Summer Time later this month - making it a busy time for those of us who love gardening. We're packed full of lovely items for your gardens at the moment - from planters to garden furniture, plant supports to garden statues and all sorts of other wonderful items. Call in and have a browse - we would love to see you,
Speaking of Easter, our opening times that weekend will be slightly different to normal:
Good Friday - 10am - 5pm
Easter Saturday - 10am - 5pm
Easter Sunday - closed
Easter Monday - 11am - 4pm
We look forward to seeing you soon!
